Absence

Hello, fellow DA enthusiasts. I apologize for my prolonged absence from making art recently. I have been suffering from digital art withdrawl recently. About a month ago my great grandpa passed away. He lived in New Brunswick and I live in Peterborough Ontario (16 Hours away). So it was road trip time! My friend Geoff decided that he wanted to join me for the few days I'd be up there (he was pretty exited to see the east coast). We left later than we should've and ended up driving through the night. I decided to pull over and take a power nap for about an hour and a half. About 4 hours or so after I had finished the power nap I found myself nodding off from sleepiness. At one point I found my car more than half way on the out side of the outside line for the highway. I did a bit of a speed wobble and swerved across the highway off into the massive (I'd say about 15 foot deep) ditch and landed about 60 feet away from the highway. The car rolled a total of 4 times before landing upside down in a swamp. My biggest concern was for Geoff, he was sleeping at the time in the lounge position and Geoff usually doesn't wear his seat belt which made me even more concerned. We both had our seat belts on and we both climbed out of the wreckage UNSCATHED. The best part about it was at the time of the crash we were listening to the Diddy Kong Racing soundtrack for N64 www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOJgzV… This was the song XD. After the first roll the 2 front windows blew out then my phone went flying out the window and my glasses and my tablet pen. We were able to find my phone but not the tablet pen or the glasses. So that's why I've been gone for so long. I had to buy a new car and a new tablet pen.
